Lazy Picture Post

I think we can all guess what fluid that river is comprised of.

  1. I noticed yesterday that The Shamutanti Hills is out for Advanced Fighting Fantasy yesterday.

I also went into Games Workshop and asked if they had a game called Trolls in the Pantry.

Also the geek behind the counter had never heard of the Battle of the Farm. Idiot.

    1. I really liked those old Troll games. My favorite was "Oi, dat's my leg!".

  2. I wanted to go to Waylands this weekend and buy that but Manflu caused me to fail a Save vs Poison and so ended up spending Saturday and Sunday in bed.

GW? You'll be telling me they no longer stock Railway Rivals and Valley of the Four Winds next?

Remember I have a scan of the counters for Battle of the Farm if you want to refight it really old school style.

    1. I actually have enough RTB01 marines to do it as well. I'd have to use 'modern' orks though. I've got the counters as well.

    2. I can do the Battle at the Farm Crimson Fists but they are all mostly modern figures

Cantor should have a power fist not a power sword but everything else is WYSIWYG correct.

  3. Nice collection of pics. Twnety-odd years now I've had that book (RoCII) in my possession and not till now did I realise they were wading through a river of yuch! Hell, I hadn't even noticed they were wading through a river!

  4. I played the battle of the farm with all the right figures (though my beakies are painted grey not blue) a few years back. To be honest it was a little disappointing. Maybe we all had the wrong mindset but the marines won hands down every time. But then I never really took to RT quite the way I did to WHFB, loved the book just not the game so much.
